A Journey to a Balanced Life

Welcome to Balanced Soul Therapy. I understand that life’s challenges can sometimes feel overwhelming, and healing is a journey, not a destination. I am passionate about helping you navigate trauma, build resilience, and foster personal growth. Through a holistic approach that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit, I support you in finding balance and peace within yourself. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your inner world and begin the process of healing at your own pace. Your journey to a more balanced life starts here.

About Me.

Breeze Welborn, LMSW

Hi, I’m Breeze, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Northern Arizona University. I enjoy hiking, yoga, camping, football Sundays, being on the water in the sunshine, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I also love being the best mom and wife I can be. I am as easy-going as my name implies!

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meaning that I believe the best results come when we work collaboratively. Building a trusting, authentic rapport with you is a core part of that process. I specialize in using evidence-based interventions, including aspects of DBT, emotional regulation techniques, and other therapeutic tools, to help you navigate emotional struggles, enhance self-awareness, and cope with life’s complexities.

Whether it’s managing stress, addressing difficult patterns, or embracing new perspectives, I’m here to support you in creating meaningful change. Healing is a journey, and I’ll be with you every step of the way.

Therapeutic Interventions

These are examples of just a few of the therapeutic interventions we would use throughout our journey together.

DBT

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is all about finding balance—between acceptance and change, emotions and logic, and caring for yourself while maintaining healthy relationships. It provides practical skills to help you manage intense emotions, navigate stress, and communicate more effectively. Through mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, DBT helps you respond to life’s challenges in a way that aligns with your values and goals. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about building the tools to handle life with more confidence and ease.

Person-Centered Approach

Person-Centered Therapy is built on the idea that you are the expert on your own life. This approach focuses on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel truly heard, valued, and accepted. Rather than giving advice or telling you what to do, therapy is a collaborative process where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. With warmth, empathy, and genuine understanding, we’ll work together to help you gain insight, build confidence, and move toward the life you want.

Systems Theory

Systems Theory helps us see how different parts of our lives—like family, relationships, work, and community—are all connected. Instead of looking at struggles as just individual problems, this approach considers how our environment and the people around us shape our experiences. By understanding these connections, we can recognize patterns, improve relationships, and make positive changes that lead to a healthier, more balanced life.
